A smart and beautifully designed antique Georgian style mahogany leather top writing table / desk. This was made in England, we would date it to around the mid-late twentieth century.

It is of lovely quality and is a very useful size. There is an inset leather writing surface, the drawer fronts are cross banded, they have beautifully detailed brass handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. This is nicely finished on all sides including the back, so it can be used as a free standing item. It stands on nicely turned and fluted legs that terminate in brass feet caps.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
