A very high quality antique mahogany leather top military campaign pedestal desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.

It is extremely well made, with a useful and very smart design. The mahogany has a lovely colour tone, there is high quality brass hardware throughout, including inset military brass handles, carry handles on the sides of the top and corner pieces. There is an inset green leather writing surface with tooled edges, the back is also nicely finished, so it can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor wear, patina and various small marks here and there remaining beneath the polish, commensurate for age.

The top lifts off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.
