A superb antique Victorian writing desk in solid walnut. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is of amazing quality and is a very useful size. The legs are beautifully turned with wonderful carved details. The two drawers have nice brass handles and the back is nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item. The inset leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled, with cross banded edges.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
