This large antique satinwood display cabinet is the finest quality I have ever come across & is in excellent original condition.
Please enlarge all the images to see all the amazing features, including the very fine carvings on the top central motif, plus on the top & bottom of the four Corinthian supports. It still has the original urns on the top & sits on tapered spade end legs. There are three glass shelves inside & it’s lined with the original velvet lining which is still in good condition. This cabinet has some beautiful inlays all over & they are made up of various exotic woods. Below the doors the concaved base protrudes out with two drawers inside which have original pierced brass handles.
This is a very rare item with an amazing design & being satinwood makes it even rarer. I would date it to around the 1890 period.
