An absolutely stunning antique Italian gilt wood mirror, dating from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is of superb quality and has a gorgeous and quite unusual design. It is mostly solid wood, with decorative gesso mounts in the form of branches and grapes. The mirror has a gorgeous overall shape, the gilded finish has just the right amount of patina.

This is in excellent condition for its age, it’s all there, with one or two very minor historical repairs.
