A stunning antique Victorian carved gilt wood vanity mirror, made in England and dating from around the 1850-1870 period.

It is of superb quality and is an impressive size, it is beautifully carved with intricate details throughout. The oval mirror is set on hinges and can tilt, the glass is bevelled. It is supported by a lovely cherub with stands on a platform base with scrolled feet. This has a gorgeous patina, it also has carved details on the back, so is intended to be seen from all angles.

The condition is excellent for its age, with some normal age related wear here and there, seen in the images.
