A charming and beautiful antique French scroll end settee, dating from around the 1880-1900 period.

It is beautifully designed and is of very fine quality. It is a lovely, compact size and is perfect for use as an entry bench, window seat or even at the foot of a bed. The solid birch frame has fine and intricate carving throughout, it stands on fluted legs with carved rosettes at the knees.

We have had the frame revived and re-polished, it has been newly upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for its age, with only some very minor historical wear beneath the polish on the frame here and there.
