A stunning antique lacquered chinoiserie armchair with a beautifully designed cane back. This was made in England & dates from the 1910-20’s period.

The quality is amazing and this has gorgeous chinoiserie decorations throughout, particularly on the back rest. The back is circular shaped with a sunburst design in the centre, surrounded by lovely cane rattan.

There is some light wear and patina to the frame, commensurate for age, giving this plenty of charm and character.

We have had the seat re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric, overall this is in great condition for its age.
