A fantastic antique leather armchair in the Chippendale style. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1920 period.
It is of amazing quality, with a very comfortable and good looking design. The leather tub seat sits on cabriole legs, with fine acanthus leaf carving at the knees, claw and ball feet, and a gadrooned front edge.
The studded leather has been hand coloured and revived by our leather restorer, the mahogany has also been re-polished. This is in excellent overall condition for its age, with a gorgeous patina.
