A wonderful antique mahogany two seat settee in the classic Chippendale style. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1920’s period.

The quality is superb, with crisp carving and a strong, sturdy build. The scrolled arms have acanthus leaf carving to the fronts, the cabriole legs have acanthus leaf carving on the knees terminating in bold claw and ball feet.

We have had the frame re-polished, the mahogany has a gorgeous patina, with just some minor old wear to be seen beneath the polish. We have had this completely re-upholstered in a high quality cream cotton fabric.
