A wonderful antique Regency period leather and mahogany stool. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1815-1830 period.

It is of fine quality and has a beautiful design, standing on a curved X frame stretchered base. The mahogany has acquired a wonderful patina and colour tone, complimented nicely by the tan leather upholstery.

We have had this cleaned and wax polished, the condition is very good for its age. One of the feet has a historical repair with a metal bracket beneath, seen in the images.
