A wonderful antique Victorian mahogany bench, made in England and dating from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is of outstanding quality, with beautifully turned legs and turned bolsters on the edge of the seat. It is a great size, it is a less commonly seen wider model, perfect for use as an entry way bench, at the foot of a bed or even as a dining bench. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, it is finished identically front and back, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent, with some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there. It has a gorgeous and characterful patina.
