A wonderful pair of antique armchairs in the Carolean revival style. These were made in England, they date from around the 1890-1910 period.
They are of lovely quality, with beautiful acanthus leaf carving on the arms and excellent turned, stretchered bases. They are of nice proportions and are very comfortable, with a generous seating area.
The upholstery is in very good order, they are very clean and just a little faded. The frames are also in very good condition, with just some fade to the arms and minor wear here and there .
