An impressive and beautifully designed pair of antique Swedish neoclassical mahogany side chairs. They are in the Gustavian style, they were recently imported from Sweden and date from around the 1890-1900 period.

The quality is outstanding, and they are of lovely proportions. The solid mahogany frames are beautifully made, they are adorned with high quality gilt bronze mounts and have beautifully gilded hairy paw feet.

We have had the frames re-polished and they have been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is superb throughout.
