A wonderful vintage blanket chest, upholstered in faux crocodile skin leather. This dates from the 1920-30’s and was made in England.
It is of excellent quality, with a sturdy build and fine craftsmanship. There are brass tacks on the edges and brass trim around the lid. The brass lid supports are also very good quality.
The condition is very good for its age, with only some minor wear here and there.
Not only is this a useful storage piece, but it also makes an extra seat.
