An extremely beautiful and interesting antique bombe commode in olive wood. This was made in the Netherlands, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.

The quality is amazing, with patchwork veneers of olive wood throughout, all on a solid wood carcass. It has a gorgeous shape and very useful small proportions, with lots of storage space inside the generous drawers. The top and drawer fronts are beautifully cross banded and it has high quality original brass handles.

The colour and patina are wonderfully rich, with exceptional grain patterns. We have just had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
