A smart and quite unusual George III period cabinet in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1790-1810 period.
It is of superb quality, with an interesting locking mechanism on the side rather than on the front. This has panelled door and sits on bracket feet, with two removable shelves inside.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor wear here and there remaining beneath the polish, with a gorgeous overall patina.
