An absolutely stunning antique Victorian burr walnut twin pier cabinet / bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is of extremely fine quality and is a very useful size, with plenty of storage space. The burr walnut grain patterns are gorgeous throughout, there are high quality gilt metal ormolu mounts all over, and there is also fine satin wood inlay around the borders. The glazed doors open to reveal a velvet lined interior and this comes with a locking key.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
