A fabulous antique carved mahogany lamp, with an equally fabulous antique needlepoint shade, dating from around the 1910-20’s period.

This lamp shade is one of the finest we have ever seen, with absolutely amazing hand stitched floral designs. It has a great shape, is very large and is of amazing quality.

The lamp stand is also of superb quality, with beautiful crisp carving throughout. It is beautifully turned, fluted and sits on tripod legs terminating in claw and ball feet.

The overall condition is excellent for its age, the lamp stand has been re-polished, re-wired and PAT tested for safety. The lamp is all intact and free from structural damage. There is just some light wear to the outside of the shade, and the inside has some old marks, seen in the images.
