A fine antique early Victorian leather and mahogany desk chair. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1840-1860 period.

It is extremely well made, with a beautifully carved mahogany frame. The legs and spindles on the back are nicely turned, the legs sit on original porcelain casters. The leather has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, with original horse hair stuffing.

We have had the frame re-polished, the leather has been hand coloured and revived by our leather restorer. There is just one small historical repair to the front of one arm, seen in the images.
