A large and impressive antique mahogany open bookcase. This was made in England, we would date it from around the 1890-1910 period.

It is of very fine quality, with five adjustable shelves offering lots of storage space. This has a lovely dental moulded cornice, it sits on bracket feet. The mahogany has a gorgeous rich colour tone and patina.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with just some minor wear and old marks remaining beneath the polish here and there.
