This antique Victorian leather armchair is deep & cosy. I think the leather is original & it's how I obtained it. The upholsterer did some work on the seat, because it was sagging a bit, then the leather was revived & colour enhanced. It has a deep buttoned back & a great all round shape. The leather is hand tacked on to the frame & it has turned mahogany legs with casters. Please enlarge all the images to see the features & colour of the leather. The leather is very good quality & has loads of character. There are no holes, tears or rips. This chair dates to around the 1860-80's period. It does has the look of a 'Howard Chair'
