A stunning and unusual antique Victorian writing table in mahogany. This dates from around the 1840-1860 period.

It has a fantastic design, with extraordinary barley twist legs, the overall proportions are fairly small.

The quality is amazing, this took some exceptional craftsmanship to make. It is solid mahogany throughout, with beautifully moulded edges and a nicely polished back. It sits on beautiful original white porcelain casters.

The leather top is gold tooled and is of lovely quality too, with just some minor wear to be seen. We have had this recently re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.
