A large antique Victorian pedestal desk in mahogany, this dates from around the 1880-1890 period.

It is of excellent quality, with reeded edges and lovely original brass handles. This sits on a plinth base, and is nicely polished on the back, so can be used as a free standing item. The drawers all run smoothly and have fine dovetailed joints.

We have had the top re-leathered, hand coloured and gold tooled. We have also had this French polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. There is a gorgeous colour and patina to this.

It also breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.
