An incredible pair of antique French walnut salon armchairs with beautiful carvings. They were made in France, and I would date them from around the 1850-60’s period.

The quality is outstanding, with profuse, deep and intricate floral carving throughout. They are a useful size, with generous proportions and perfect for use in various settings around the home.

We have had the frames stripped and re-polished, and they have been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for their age.
