A wonderful pair of vintage English Gainsborough armchairs in the antique Georgian style, dating from around the 1950’s period.

The quality is superb, with fabulous solid mahogany arms & legs. They have high hump backs, which are very supportive for the back & head. These chairs were re-upholstered by the previous owner in this very high quality striped fabric.

They are in excellent condition for their age, with hardly any wear to be seen. They are sturdy, supportive and very comfortable.
