An exceptional antique burr walnut Queen Anne style dining table and eight chairs. This was made in England, it dates from the 1920’s.

The quality is absolutely superb, the chairs are beautifully constructed from solid walnut, they are very sturdy with crisp carving and gorgeous burr walnut grain patterns. There are six side chairs, and two carver armchairs with shepherds crook arms. The chairs also have magnificent acanthus leaf carving at the knees and hairy paw feet.

The dining table has a stunning burr walnut top , it has an extra leaf which extends the table to comfortable seat all eight chairs. This sits on beautifully carved cabriole legs which also have acanthus leaf carving at the knees and hairy paw feet.

We have had all the wood stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the drop in seats are upholstered in a gorgeous cream cotton damask fabric. The condition is excellent for its age.
