An absolutely beautiful antique French carved gilt wood marble top occasional table, dating from around the 1890-1910 period.

It is of superb quality and is a lovely size, perfect for use as an occasional side table or centre table. There is crisp carving around the edges and this has a caned stretchered base. There are also incredibly detailed gesso floral mounts on each side, The legs are nicely turned and fluted with acanthus leaf carving and carved rosettes. This is identical on all sides, so is can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this cleaned and revived, the condition is excellent throughout. The marble has lovely patterns, and is also damage free.
