A beautiful antique French inlaid parquetry bureau plat desk / side table. This was made in France, it dates from around the 1890-1900 period.

It is of extremely high quality, with a beautiful inlaid parquetry top and sides. The top is nicely shaped with serpentine edges and a brass rim that runs around the entire edge. There is a single drawer on the front, this appears identical front and back, so can be used as a free standing item. There are very high quality ormolu mounts throughout, the quality of detail can be seen in the close up images.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent with only some extremely minor wear here and there.
