An outstanding antique Georgian period mahogany console table, made in England and dating from around the 1790-1810 period.

The quality is superb, this has a lovely shape and is of useful proportions. It is solid mahogany throughout, it stands on beautifully tapered and carved legs that terminate in spade feet. There are lovely carved details throughout, and there is a single drawer with fine, hand cut dovetailed joints and brass ring pull handles.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is lovely for its age. There is some minor wear and normal patina throughout, expected from a piece of this age.
