A beautiful and very impressive antique Indian tray top coffee table, dating from around the 1880-1900 period.

The quality is outstanding and this is much larger than the ones usually seen. The oval top holds a beautifully detailed brass tray, that depicts a scene of hunters and tigers in the jungle. The solid wood base is beautifully carved, the top can lift off and the base is collapsible, so is very easy to move around / store.

The condition is excellent for its age, with just the right amount of patina and light wear, there are no major damages or repairs.
