A charming antique writing desk / side table in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1920 period.

It is of superb quality and is a very useful size. The single drawer has lovely brass handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The inset leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled, this has a polished back, so can be used as a free standing item. This has beautiful carving all around the top edges and down the edges of the legs, the lower edge of the drawers is also very nicely shaped.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age.
