A very smart and extremely well made antique mahogany military campaign style chest of drawers. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.

The quality is superb, this is a lovely and very useful size. It is perfect for various settings around the home, as a bedside chest or even as a side table in a lounge. The back is nicely polished, so it can be used as a free standing item. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, offset beautifully by the brass military style handles and brass fixtures. There is a useful pull out slide shelf that comes out from beneath the top, the top has an inset oval brass plaque in the centre and exposed dovetailed joints on the upper edges.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. Just some minor wear remains here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
