A large and impressive antique Regency style mahogany extending dining table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.
It has a stunning flame mahogany top with cross banded edges. Each half sits on a pedestal tripod base with reeded legs and brass hairy paw casters. This come with two additional leaves which extends the top from a six seater into a very large table that can comfortably seat up to twelve. The leaves rest on removable runners that give extra stability, the two table halves on pedestals can flip up to save space if the table needs to be moved out of the way for special occasions etc.
We have had this recently re-polished, there are some old marks and bumps that remain beneath the polish here and there. Overall this is in excellent condition for its age.
