A stunning antique Regency style sofa table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950’s.

It is of outstanding quality, rosewood with extraordinary grain patterns and colour tones. The top is also strongly crossbanded in satinwood. This table has two drawers at the front and two dummy drawers at the back, so it looks identical from both sides. The drawers have brass handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The two drop down leaves can be lifted to extend the surface area and they rest on outswinging supports.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
