A nice quality and decorative antique mahogany Chippendale style side table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.
This is beautifully made and has an unusual design, it seems most likely for use as a drinks table to store bottles and glasses.
The top section has a carrying handle on the top, with an open boxed compartment and gallery on the other side with turned uprights. It has a turned pedestal with a twisted centre part, and sits on bold tripod legs with pad feet.
This table is structurally sound and has lots of character. We have had it cleaned and given a fresh wax polish, the condition is very good for its age.
