Antique Regency mahogany baize lined card table in original condition, dating from the 1810-20’s period. We took this table from a regular customer in London, who asked us to sell it for her, or put it in auction. It does need a bit of restoration & a good polish, so please enlarge all the images to see the condition it’s in. Everything is still there & I reckon a restorer might charge about ?100 – ?200 to fix everything properly. Full restored & polished, it would retail for around ?1000 – ?1500 or more in certain areas. Consequently, we are putting it on for a very reasonable price. It has a flame mahogany cross banded top & the front edge has some fine ebony inlays also on flame mahogany. There are four shaped supports, which could do with some small repairs near the bases. They sit on a platform base, which also needs some restoration & a bit of veneer work. The sabre legs seem fine & have the original fine quality brass paw feet with casters. The baize playing surface could be original & is still okay.
