Antique Victorian burr walnut pedestal desk that separates into three sections for easy transportation. It dates from around the 1860-80?s period & is in good condition throughout, having just been French polished. This desk has a hand coloured tooled leather writing surface. The drawers are all cross banded & are graduated in depth, with locks & brass handles. The pedestals sit on plinth bases & there are casters underneath. It?s quite rare to find these models in burr walnut & this desk although quite small, still has a generous kneehole space.
