An excellent original antique William IV tilt top dining / centre table in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1830-40’s period.
It is of superb quality and is a very useful size. It could be used as a dining / kitchen table or even as a centre table in a large entry way. The circular top has a cross banded edge, the mahogany grain patterns are gorgeous, this has acquired a beautiful colour tone and patina. The top can be tilted to save space, it sits on a mahogany platform base, with bun feet and casters below.
We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There are just some minor wear and age related marks beneath the polish here and there, all adding to the character.
