A fantastic original William IV period tilt top circular dining table in rosewood. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1830-1840’s.
This is a great size and is of amazing quality. The round top can tilt up to save space when not in use, it can unbolt and detach completely for ease of transport. There is a small lever mechanism built in to the base that can be lifted to stop the top from collapsing when tilted up.
The rosewood grain patterns are absolutely stunning throughout, and this sits on a finely carved and very impressive base. The base is beautifully carved, and sits on original brass casters.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
