A stunning antique William IV rosewood tilt top dining table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1830-1850 period.
It is of extremely fine quality, with absolutely beautiful rosewood grain patterns throughout, particularly on the top. The round top is a great size and can be flipped up to save space when not in use. It is a great size for a dining table or even as a centre table for a large entry way.
The top sits on a bold cylindrical column which in turn sits on a platform base with hairy paw feet and brass casters. The top can be removed completely for ease of transport and is held on with brass bolts.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
