A beautiful and large antique Queen Anne style figured walnut console table. This was made in England, it date from around the 1900-1920 period.
The quality is outstanding, this is a very useful and wide size, that is not too deep. It has beautifully shaped serpentine top that has cross banded edges, with very crisp acanthus leaf carving at the knees, with cabriole legs that terminate in wonderfully detailed claw and ball feet. This also has two useful drawers that have brass handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The back overhangs nicely, so this would sit flush against a wall with a large skirting at the bottom.
We have had this recently re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
