A wonderful pair of antique Georgian style yew wood oyster veneer side cabinets. They were made in England, and date from around the 1930-50’s.

The quality is amazing, they are made from solid and veneered yew wood, the veneers are cut from slim branches which gives the appearance of oysters, hence the name oyster veneer. They are a useful size, with tray top handles around the top edges and polished backs, so they can be used as free standing items.

The condition is excellent for their age, we have just had them re-polished.
