A fantastic pair of antique Georgian style yew wood side tables. They were made in England, and date from around the 1950’s.

The quality is great, they are very well made with a very useful design. The top and lower tier have cross banded edges with beautiful inlays around the borders, with nicely turned finials and legs. The drawers have high quality brass handles and nicely dovetailed joints. Each has a single drawer at the bottom and a pull out shelf with a tooled leather surface that is stored beneath the top. They sit on brass casters and have polished backs, so can be used as free standing items.

We have had them recently re-polished, the condition is very good for their age. There are just some minor marks and a little wear remaining beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
